Abstract
The Agriculture and Forestry Economics and Management major with grassland economics direction in Lanzhou University is a new specialty in China. Microeconomics is one of the basic core curriculums. According to the problems existing in the teaching and learning of this course, a flipped classroom method was introduced to this course, wherein the linkage between pre-class, in-class, and after-class and the combination of online and offline strategies is strengthened; classical and/or frontier literature presentation is also introduced as a teaching mode. The teaching reform proves that the interestingness and interactivity can arouse students’ enthusiasm and eagerness to learn courses independently. Through the comparison of the feedback results of students in different teaching modes, it has proved that the interesting and interactive teaching reform can mobilize the enthusiasm of students’ independent learning, which can improve their deep understanding of knowledge and enhance their comprehensive ability. This study also proposes some thoughts and directions on the teaching reform in the future.
