The exploration and practice of animal science course training and construction for Pratacultural Science in Lanzhou University

Guided by such strategic goals as construction of “double first-rate” and “new agriscience”, Lanzhou University bases itself on the west, looks at the world, defines the talent training objectives according to the development of social demand, and actively explores and optimizes the cultivation scheme of pratacultural and animal science compound talents. This paper analyzes and discusses the optimization of the knowledge and curriculum system architecture, teaching team and materials construction in the process of cultivating pratacultural and animal science compound talents in the field of grassland agriculture in Pratacultural Science undergraduate major in recent 9 years. The purpose of above actions aims to provide reference and suggestions for the cultivation of pratacultural and animal science compound talents education reform in China, and provide high-level compound professionals to solve the problems of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”.
