Abstract
In order to determine the best mixtureplant group of different forages in winter for subtropical regions with high, fresh yield, dry mass content and nutrient content, an study was conducted on planting Lolium multiflorum with four kinds of leguminous forages, including Vicia dasycarpa, Pisum sativum, Astragalus sinicus, and Trifolium repens respectively. Results showed that, all mixtureplant groups performed well at fresh yield and nutrient content. The total fresh yields of L.multiflorum+A.siniscu, L.multiflorum +P.sativum, L.multiflorum+T.repens, L.multiflorum+V.dasycarpa, and L.multiflorum+V.dasycarpa+A.sinicus were 44 863.33, 43 923.33, 47 003.33, 46 470.00, and 37 970.00 kgha-1, and the legume gramineae ratio were 0.076, 0.198, 0.085, 0.116, and 0.137 respectively. Refer to the nutrition, L.multiflorum+V.dasycarpa and L.multiflorum+T.repens had better performance than other groups, but L.multiflorum+V.dasycarpa had a higher total crude protein content. L.multiflorum+P.sativum and L.multiflorum+`A.siniscu had similar nutrition contents, but their nutrition contents were a litter lower thatn L.multiflorum+V.dasycarpa and L.multiflorum+T.repens. Based on the analysis and comparison on yield and quality of different groups, the optimum groups are L.multiflorum+V.dasycarpa and L.multiflorum+P.sativum.
