Isolation and identification of heterofermentative lactobacillus from forage

Eight strains of heterofermentative lactobacillus were identified from Bromus inermis，Elymus dahuricus，E.sibiricus，Agropyron cristatum，Leymus chinensis, including L. buchneri (4 strains), L. brevis (2 strains), L. fructosus (2 strains). Two strains of L. buchneri were identified and considered as a kind of ensile additives, with high growth speed and great ability of acidproduction.
